The Weekend Food Program is an initiative that combats food insecurity among pre-K through 12th grade students who rely on school meals as their primary source of food. Each Friday, Hospitality House provides six meals and four snacks in discreet, drawstring backpacks to students facing weekend hunger.
The Weekend Food Program serves as an important source of food to help students maintain physical and mental health and currently operates in the Walled Lake Consolidated School District. This program is at no cost to the child or the school.
